~Sales & breeding Policy~
PLEASE READ ALL OF OUR SALES POLICY BEFORE CONTACTING US WITH QUESTIONS. THANKS!
We, the breeder, have the right to retain the first choice animal from any particular breeding.
We also have the right to refuse or terminate a sale, at any time/point. Sales are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE! Reservations are always our first priority and then other outside sales will be second priority! We are now requiring a non-refundable deposit of half the animal's purchase price, to hold any animal, while transportation plans are being finalized. If the buyer fails to progress in the purchase/transportation plans of an animal, 30 days from the deposit's arrival, we have the right to terminate the sale.
In conclusion, it is the buyers responsibility to stay in constant contact with us! We
All shipping costs (such as crates, health certificates, flights, etc...) and are the responsibility of the buyer. There may also be additional charges for meeting buyers 1/2 way for purchases and for transport to the airport.
We will NOT be weaning our buyers goats before they leave for their new homes, unless necessary or determined otherwise, with us. If they do need to stay on the farm till after weaning, there will be an extra charge of $100, per goat.
Reservations are FREE, and again, will be addressed on a first come, first serve basis. If your desired kid is born and available for purchase, we will contact potential buyers in order of the reservations we receive (via our waiting list), for particular breedings. If the buyer wants to continue with purchase of a reserved kid, they will be required to send half the animal's purchase price after the birth of the kid, to continue to hold the animal while the pickup date is being finalized. If your desired kid is not born or unavailable, you will have first choice on other available kids, or will be able to keep that reservation on the same doe for her next kidding (or move the reservation to another breeding pair). Reserved kids should be picked up around 1-3 weeks of age, unless other arrangements are made. If not picked up within that time, we have the right to resell the kid.
We the breeder of Bear Park Bluff goats request the right to be notified first if any of our previously sold goats are being put up for sale. We would appreciate and request the ability to be able to buy back our show quality animal(s), that we have sold, so that we can continue to work with and improve our genetics.
The pricing on our kids, does, and bucks are based on a variety of factors. These factors include lineage, conformation, milking ability, potential, pet/show quality, and so on. Therefore, prices for animals are subject to vary.
***Wethers are always priced at $75 each, where as show potential kids and adults START at $350 and go UP. Please do not try to down grade our prices! We try our best to offer well bred, healthy, and productive animals at a reasonable price. Please understand that raising our quality animals takes a lot of time, effort and money. We put our hearts into caring for our goats and expect our buyers to be able to do the same. Thank you for understanding.***
All of our show quality animals (does and intact bucks) will come with an ADGA certificate for
registration so that the animal(s) can get their papers.
Why are our goats so expensive? Here at Bear Park Bluff Farm we work very hard to keep our herd disease free and maintain a high standard and quality Nigerian Dwarf herd. Caring for goats is a major commitment (12+ years) and it requires a lot of time, effort, and care. The price of our goats is determined through genetics, milking ability, show potential, and etc... When you purchase a Bear Park Bluff goat you are sure to get a healthy and friendly family member. Our goats mean a lot to us and the price we set for our goats helps reassure us that our buyers are serious about caring and loving the animal whom we have worked so hard to develop. Our goat prices help us cover the cost of vaccinations, feed and hay, bedding, kidding supplies and many other necessary purchases. Therefore, we require that our buyers are serious about their commitment! Thank you! :)
We do give a $50 discount to 4H homes.
Contact us for prices on specific animals, or animals from specific breedings.
Kids are guaranteed to be healthy and free of disqualifying faults, at the time of sale.
Once the kid(s) leaves our farm we cannot offer any further guarantees, because of other outside influences.
***Breeding Services***
On occasion we do offer our bucks for breeding services on our farm, with strict rules and regulations. Any animals that come onto the farm must be disease free. Meaning, all goats MUST be CAE negative, without any history of other diseases or CL. We may also request a health check and documentation by your vet prior to any arrangements for breeding services. Boarders are asked to bring their own feed and hay for their animals stay. "Driveway" breedings are also available if does pass the same health checks and rules as stated above.
